Safe Sanctuary Policy

Both UMC and NIC require all people working with children and youth on church property to be trained in Safe Sanctuary.

The program that provides the online training for us is called "Safe Gathering" and includes a background check for all people...

** Register for "Safe Gathering" @ https://www.umcnic.org/safegatherings

** Then create an account and follow the instructions (there is a cost & provide 2 references)

** The training is valid for 3 years
